On Sunday 14 September 2025, more than 1,300 rowers from all over France and abroad come together to celebrate a unique moment: the 40ᵉ edition of the Traversée de Paris et des Hauts-de-Seine rowing racean exceptional event approved this year by the Government as part of the Fête nationale du sport (National Sports Day).

Every year, this 28 km attracts rowing enthusiasts, the curious and lovers of Paris. It's the the only event authorised to row across the capitalA rare experience that allows you to admire the most beautiful Parisian monuments from the Seine: the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre-Dame and the emblematic bridges of the City of Light.

The start will be given at 7.15 am from Boulogne-Billancourtwith an expected arrival around 11h15after a festive and convivial descent.

As well as the show on the water, the party will continue ashore. The nautical base will be hosting a convivial lunch prepared by a local caterer, with a vegetarian version on the menu.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy a shop in the colours of the Traversée de ParisThere will also be a special section on the website, offering polo shirts, T-shirts, goodies and event posters. A refreshment bar will also be available to extend this festive and convivial moment.
